Mesh.com

I like Mesh a lot.
For two reasons.
Log-in and file sharing.
Both are seamless.

Video Killed the Radio Star

Folks, it has happened again!!

From now on, if you want to show the world a good tip or a cool trick on your computer, just go to http://communityclips.officelabs.com and make a video clip.
Instead of writing a lot of text and adding many screen shots, just record a video clip — show and tell everyone what you are excited about.

Enjoy the ride!

An idea is a lot like a recipe

For making a dish you need (at least):
  • recipe (idea)
  • food (ingreedients)
  • knives, forks, pans, … (tools)
  • kitchen (workspace)
  • hungry eaters (an interested audience)
  • dinning table (consuming space)
  • cooking knowledge
  • cooking skills
  • time
  • energy
  • motivation

To prepare a good dish, a recipe is required.
While a good recipe can’t hurt the dish, there is so much more that needs to go right.
It’s possible to cook a good dish even by using a not-so-good recipe.

Thinking more broadly, a good idea to begin with can’t hurt the final result.
However, there is so much more that needs to go right.
Right?

Happy cooking!

Snow

Snow season is starting these days.
Some pages to keep on the radar are telefon, Steven’s (RSSOTSRoad) and Snoqualmie (RSS, OTS, Road).
Hey, it’s a start!

Bob says

Bob sells Ford cars. Yesterday I asked him about Friday holiday discounts.
Nope, he said, this is just for groceries and smaller stuff, not for cars.
They do have an ‘end of year’ sale for 2007 models, though.

Wintertime Grande Caramel Macchiato

The title is a summary of what you see at a typical Starbucks shop inside a big grocery store.

It sums up quite nicely that the big winter shopping season is starting, that outside is rather cold and that the scene is ripe for some seasonal flavors like eggnog and cinnamon.

Good times!
Enjoy winter!
